The KG environment encourages students to learn abstract principles and work in a non-competitive environment. This is an exciting time for these young learners, who are changing physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally. Children use the language to connect, communicate and interact with the people around them. They enjoy books, stories, games, projects, and songs focused on curricular themes. We impart the curriculum in a whole-group setting and then expanded to small-group work and individual lessons. The children expand their language and pre-literacy skills in all options during this exciting year. They also develop increasingly complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills and learn to make.
